Joe Carter - #29 - Actual Worn Jersey from Blue Jays Reunion Weekend

This is the actual jersey worn by Joe Carter when introduced to the crowd at the Toronto Blue Jays Back2Back Reunion dinner, held in Toronto, Ontario on August 8, 2009. Upon leaving the stage, the jerseys were taken off the player's backs and then signed. All jerseys are retro (1992-93 style vintage) and are one-of-a-kind.

The Toronto Blue Jays Back2Back Reunion weekend took place this past August 7-9. This was the first time the teams were brought together since their respective World Series championships almost 16-17 years ago. It was an event that was long overdue and the players had an amazing time, all-the-while raising money for the Jays Care Foundation and the Children’s Aid Foundation.
All 1992-93 Blue Jays items in this auction were signed over the course of the weekend, and several of them are amongst the most desirable Blue Jays signed pieces in existence. The remainder of items were donated to these great causes. Thank you for your support of the Toronto Blue Jays and these great charities, and good luck with your bidding.
